IBD APPOINTS HEATAIR SOLUTIONS AS AGENT FOR SCOTLAND

IBD Distribution, the leading UK supplier of sustainable energy efficient renewable solutions, has appointed Heatair Solutions of Glasgow as their new agent for Scotland. Led by Director David Cranston the company has an established reputation as one of Scotland’s leading suppliers of heating, ventilation and building services technology for installers and specifiers in the commercial market.

When he formed Heatair Solutions in 2008, David Cranston had already gained outstanding experience in distributor sales in the heating equipment market. Since then, his company has enjoyed significant growth and has just been shortlisted for the 2016 Agent of The Year award by the Manufacturers’ Agents’ Association. This recognises the company’s highly professional agency relationships with its principals.

In addition to the new IBD Distribution agency, Heatair Solutions represents other market leading companies as part of its portfolio of heat emitter solutions. These include Mark Bv radiant heating, MHS radiators, Kampmann trench heating & cooling, and Flocontrol valves. The addition of the IBD range to the company’s portfolio is seen by David as an excellent news for his customers: “ We have positioned ourselves as providing only the most appropriate heat emitter solutions for any project. The IBD agency allows us to add market leading heating, ventilation and renewables brands that will not only complement our existing ranges but will also underline to our customer base that Heatair only offers H&V solutions of the highest standards.”

Envirotube Underfloor Heating and Invisible.AC small duct HVAC systems for commercial and residential installations will be major product ranges for Heatair Solutions. IBD’s range of renewables, including Daikin air, ground source and hybrid heat pumps as well as solar solutions together with Grant biomass boilers are also expected to attract much interest from the residential and self-build markets.

“IBD also has Microgeneration Certification Scheme installer certification. This will also be of major interest to our installer customers who are looking to get involved with Renewable Heat Incentive projects, but need third party sign-off to allow them and their clients to take full advantage of financial incentives afforded by the RHI and MCS schemes ,” says David.

IBD’s Managing Director Ian Smith comments: “ We are delighted to appoint Heatair Solutions. IBD’s business is expanding rapidly throughout the UK and new customers in Scotland will receive first class sales and advice from a company with a high reputation and extensive experience in successfully managing fully integrated building services projects.”

Based in Glasgow, David Cranston welcomes the opportunity to discuss any project or general enquiry at any time and can be contacted on 07792 627 254, Email: david@heatairsolutions.co.uk www.heatairsolutions.co.uk
