Based on the above tariffs, a domestic property in England and Wales could benefit from RHI payments as follows. Paid quarterly tax free for seven years.
Air Source Heat Pump with a SCoP of 3.8 = £ 1,040.59 (per annum)
or
Ground Source Heat Pump with an SCoP of 4.2 = £ 2,769.60 (per annum)
and
Two Solar Thermal Panels generating 1,743 kWh per annum = £ 349.65 (per annum)

Based on the Energy Performance Certificate values for a 4 bedroom detached home in Southampton with four occupants.
16,457 kW/h per annum for space heating
2,048 kW/h per annum domestic hot water
