PARTICIPATING AT THE BIGGEST HOMEBUILDING & RENOVATING EVENT IN THE UK
IBD Distribution’s complete range of sustainable energy efficient heating and ventilation solutions will be highlighted on Stand D124 at the National homebuilding and Renovating Exhibition, NEC, 23-26 March.
With the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) being further revised in April 2017 to encourage greater uptake of heat pumps and hybrids by homeowners, IBD will exhibit examples from the Daikin Altherma air source and hybrid ranges as well as Vaillant ground source versions.
In addition to its MCS Installer Certification, IBD are members of RECC Real Energy Consumers Code and also Daikin UK’s only Specialist Renewable Distributor. Biomass Boilers, Solar Thermal and Voltaic solutions together with complementary small-duct HVAC systems
IBD HIGHLIGHTS RENEWABLE CHOICES FOR GRAND DESIGNS
At Grand Designs Live, Excel London, 29 April-7 May, IBD Distribution will underline its position as the UK leading supplier of complete renewable heating, ventilation and cooling solutions. The company IBD is a long-standing major distributor of Daikin Altherma Air Source and Hybrid Heat Pumps in its role as Daikin UK’s Specialist Renewable Distributor.
Harvesting low grade heat from the air and converting it into useful ‘high grade heat’ for use within a building, Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs) are the simplest to install as no ground works are required and depending on the size of heat pump required to meet the “heat loss” of the property, a budget in the region of £6‐10,000 should be allocated for a complete heating and hot water system.
IBD Distribution now also supplies Vaillant Ground Source Heat Pump Systems (GSHPs) which can be over six times as energy efficient as the most efficient gas or oil boiler. Instead of burning fossil fuels, they utilise energy that already exists in the ground in the form of stored solar energy.
Solar thermal and voltaic solutions as well as biomass and other renewables are also available from IBD. As an expert in its field the company will offer visitors with all round advice on the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and Microgeneration Certification Schemes (MCS).
To complement renewable energy sources, IBD’s expertise extends into small duct HVAC systems with the Invisible.AC range as well as Envirotube underfloor heating solutions for all types of property. With underfloor heating, not all systems are the same and Envirotube guarantees compatibility with the primary generator, whether a conventional fuel powered boiler or a renewable energy source. This is especially important if a heat pump is being employed as the efficiency of the system is compromised if the heat emitter is not designed to match its output and operating parameters.
