We are BPEC approved for Solar Thermal and Heat Recovery Ventilation system design and installation. Our Microgeneration Certification Scheme approval is COR/183.
Our design office is fully equipped with AutoCAD work stations, wide format printers and design software packages to enable us to provide a quality service in the specification phase of a customer’s project.

MEET THE TEAM
Introducing some key members of the IBD team.
Ian’s entrepreneurship has been the driving force behind the company’s development and partnership with internationally renowned renewables manufacturers. He was one of the original pioneers behind the introduction of mini – duct heating, ventilation and cooling system technology in the UK and remains at the forefront of the company’s strategic alliances with suppliers, distributors, customers and other business partners.
Darren has over 20 years’ experience in the H&V industry and is a recognised industry authority. His practical experience with installations, and his close knowledge of standards and regulations that affect the building industry, make him the ideal person to oversee IBD’s technical and engineering operation.
Regional Sales Manager
Robin is South West Regional Sales Manager and promotes IBD’s products and services to homeowners, developers, plumbers’ merchants and contractors as well as architects and facilities managers throughout the South West.
Central & Southern Sales Manager
IBD Distribution has appointed James Webster as Central & Southern Sales Manager. Covering the whole of IBD’s southern sales area from Devon to Hampshire and as far north as the M4, James will be liaising with contractors, consultants, architects, plumbers’ merchants and homeowners.
Technical Support Executive
Responsible for providing technical support to both trade customers and property owners, whether residential or commercial projects. He has outstanding experience in the heating, plumbing and ventilation industry and supports Technical Director, Darren Johnson.
OMAR RAHI, BSc (Hons)
Senior Design Engineer
As a System Designer, Omar provides customers with a high quality service in the specification phase of every project. Experienced with AutoCAD, heat loss calculation software and essential H&V system design packages, Omar plays a key part in operations. This includes an essential day to day role in MCS and RHI customer support activities.
Publicity and Marketing
Rob devises PR, Marketing, Advertising, Exhibition and Social Media activities for the company. He has vast experience, providing a link between IBD and its distributors, customers and suppliers.
Kerri is responsible for company finances and responsible for arranging payment terms and invoicing to IBD customers as well as liaising with suppliers accounts’ departments.
Oliver has joined IBD’s commercial department where he is part of the team responsible for esimating and quoting projects as well as general customer service duties.
George is a key member of IBD’s head office team. His duties include sales administration and order processing as well as development and execution of the company’s marketing programme. George has expertise in desk top publishing and digital media as well as photography and video production.
